What it was

BetSwirl was a non-custodial on-chain betting platform. Bets were settled by smart contracts using Chainlink VRF, without deposits or KYC, and the platform ran on Polygon, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Avalanche and Base, among others.

BETS was the native token. Holders could stake it for a share of platform revenue; in 2025 the project moved BETS liquidity to Unichain and replaced staking rewards with LP rewards from 1 July 2025. BetSwirl also offered a white-label kit for third-party casinos and, from February 2025, a Farcaster mini app.

How it ended

BetSwirl has not published a shutdown notice that we could find. Its X account posted daily sports giveaways until 30 December 2025 and has been silent since.

As of 18 October 2026, www.betswirl.com permanently redirects to riviera.gg, a separate on-chain casino with its own terms. We found no official statement explaining the redirect or the relationship between the two, so we do not describe it as a rebrand.

Token today

BETS uses the same contract address, 0x94025780a1ab58868d9b2dbbb775f44b32e8e6e5, on Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base and Unichain (CoinGecko).

On 18 October 2026 CoinGecko showed a price of about $0.0000223 and 24-hour volume of under $3. This is about 98% below the all-time high of $0.00143 reached on 12 July 2024. CoinGecko shows no market cap figure.

Not that we can confirm. betswirl.com redirects to riviera.gg, but we found no official announcement linking the two projects.
