What it was
BoxBet presented itself as a mobile-first crypto casino and sportsbook, accessible through its website and a Telegram app, with slots, sports betting, live games and lotteries.
BXBT was its ERC-20 token, which its documentation describes as “fairly launched on Uniswap”. BoxBet pledged to use part of its revenue to buy back and burn BXBT until 25% of the supply remained. In November 2024 it announced a strategic funding round led by CMCC Global. We found no named team members or operating company.

How it ended
BoxBet never announced a closure. The site was still redirecting visitors to its casino page in January 2026. By late March 2026 boxbet.io redirected to boxbet2.io, and on 19 October 2026 that domain did not respond, so the casino cannot be reached.
The X account @BoxBetio is now protected and shows zero posts. We found no explanation from the project.
Token today
BXBT is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum (0x33f289d91286535c47270c8479f6776fb3adeb3e). CoinGecko lists a total supply of about 95.4 million BXBT.
The original Uniswap V2 pool still held about $91,800 on 19 October 2026, so its liquidity has not been withdrawn. The last token transfers into the pool that we found were on 7 and 8 October 2026, and GeckoTerminal showed no trades in the previous 24 hours. On 19 October 2026 BXBT traded at about $0.0014, more than 99% below its all-time high.
