What it was
Goated.com is an online crypto casino. In its birthday posts in late June 2026 it said it was turning two, which puts its launch in mid-2024.
GOATED was the casino's own token on Solana. It was sold in a presale on Metaplex Genesis on 25 September 2025 (10 million tokens, paid in SOL) and could then be staked for the Goated Lottery, used for wagering on the site with higher rakeback, and bought directly on Goated.com.
Timeline
- GOATED presale opens on Metaplex Genesis at 16:00 UTC with 10 million tokens; Goated says it sold out in 13 seconds. [6]
- Claim opens and GOATED starts trading in a GOATED/USDC pool on Raydium; staking for the Goated Lottery goes live. [8]
- GOATED becomes usable for wagering on the site; CoinGecko records its all-time high of $0.0812 the same day. [9]

- Goated pauses its “Airdrop 2” distribution while it “reworks” its plans for the token. [10]

How it ended
Goated never shut the casino down. What ended was free trading of its token. On 9 August 2026 Goated said GOATED had swung from $0.015 to $0.012 within days, and blamed this on players withdrawing winnings and selling them into a thin Raydium pool.
From that day GOATED has one fixed price of $0.02 on Goated.com. Buying with USDC is instant; selling for USDC settles 12 hours later. GOATED can no longer be withdrawn as a token: users convert it to USDC at $0.02 and withdraw the USDC. Deposits of GOATED from a Solana wallet are still accepted.
Goated said it would let GOATED “free float again” only if it secured a listing on a large centralised exchange, and that it would announce this well in advance. No such listing had been announced by 19 October 2026.
Token today
GOATED is a Solana token (mint GoATEDLwYeDQXyzcFxAgeiQd5Amu4mewU4KmbjvUWGvH). CoinGecko lists a total supply of about 992 million GOATED. Its last market data is from 11 August 2026, at about $0.0186.
The main Raydium GOATED/USDC pool still held about $9,300 on 19 October 2026, with no trades in the previous 24 hours (GeckoTerminal). Goated describes the on-site $0.02 rate as the only price it supports.

Questions
Can GOATED still be traded?
Only on Goated.com, at a fixed $0.02 in both directions (selling settles after 12 hours). It can no longer be withdrawn as a token; the Raydium pool has had no trades in the past 24 hours (19 Oct 2026).
Is the Goated casino closed?
No. Only the token's free trading ended. The casino was still running promotions in October 2026.
