What it was
Sherbet began as a social crypto gambling platform on Polygon with its own $BET token and a candy-themed NFT collection. It later became a no-KYC crypto casino at sherbet.com, accepting 19 cryptocurrencies and offering play through Telegram.
In May 2024 Sherbet announced a new token, $SHBT, for Q4 2024. It was to come with three airdrops for Sherbet NFT holders, $BET holders and anyone who had wagered on the site since 2021. Sherbet said at the time that it had over 65,000 players.

How it ended
On 21 October 2024, Shuffle's CEO Noah Dummett announced a letter of intent to acquire Sherbet. As part of the deal, Sherbet's operations would wind down and the site would stay in withdrawal-only mode for 30 days. Dummett said Sherbet was no longer taking bets.
BitcoinChaser reported allegations from users at the time about delayed withdrawals, blocked accounts and an expired Curaçao licence. Dummett acknowledged the concerns without commenting in detail. We found no regulator or court decision on these allegations.
We found no evidence that $SHBT launched or that the promised airdrops were paid.
Token today
We found no SHBT contract or trading history. The older $BET token was the native token of the Polygon-era platform, but we could not verify its contract address for this page.
No official claim, refund or migration process for SHBT or BET has been found.
Ticker note: SHBT was announced in May 2024 for Q4 2024; we found no evidence that it launched. Sherbet's earlier token was $BET on Polygon.
