What it was
World Bet (worldbet.fun) was a prediction market for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Solana. Users bet WBET on match results and parlays, and the team posted on-chain settlement reports after each matchday.
WBET launched through pump.fun. The team was anonymous; on 24 June 2026 it said the platform “was built to last” beyond the World Cup.

How it ended
World Bet was closed by its own team. On 4 July 2026, during the World Cup knockout stage, the team wrote that Cup Markets and World Bet “did what they were built to do” and that it was “closing these two chapters on purpose” to build a play-to-earn game on Solana. It had said on 24 June 2026 that the platform would outlast the tournament.
From 5 July 2026 the account promoted the $DARK presale for Dark Arena instead. On 19 October 2026 worldbet.fun did not respond.
Token today
WBET is a Solana token launched via pump.fun (mint 31989YsfUahV66TGiMvdSyTj1AQNvcdT327Uiu9mpump) with about 996 million tokens. CoinGecko carries a Rugcheck warning about a large concentration of tokens in unidentified wallets.
The main WBET/SOL pool still held about $4,500 on 19 October 2026; 24-hour volume was about $8.
