GambleFi Game Mechanics Compared: 17 Projects

Last updated: · Sources checked 18 October 2026

How the 17 GambleFi projects, also known as iGaming token projects, differ in games, fairness, custody, token mechanics, KYC and licensing, side by side. Projects are listed alphabetically; this is a neutral comparison, not a recommendation or financial advice. “Not confirmed” means we found no reliable source, not that a feature is missing. Terms are explained in the Glossary, general questions in the FAQ. Token prices, supply, burns, traffic and licence figures for the same 17 projects are in the GambleFi statistics table; licence status, regulator warnings and complaints are on each project’s Risks page, linked in the table below.

Mechanics questions

How do the GambleFi projects' mechanics compare at a glance?

GambleFi, also known as the iGaming token space, covers very different products. Most of the 17 projects GambleFiHub tracks are crypto casinos that hold player balances, mix in-house originals with third-party slots and add a sportsbook. SX Bet is the exception: a peer-to-peer exchange where users keep control of their funds. The bigger differences sit in the token: some projects burn tokens, some share revenue with stakers, some run lotteries and a few have no documented token role at all. The table above lists each project alphabetically, not as a recommendation.

Which projects settle bets onchain and which hold player funds?

Only SX Bet documents a non-custodial setup: funds sit in a smart-contract wallet that only the user's own signing wallet can move, and bets settle in USDC. The other projects with a documented model (11) work with deposits into a platform account: BC.Game, BetFury, Chips.gg, Fairspin, HunnyPlay, Moon Roll, Owl.Games, Rollbit, Shuffle, SolCasino and WickedBet. In that model the operator holds the balance until you withdraw, even when the casino lets you log in with a Web3 wallet, as SolCasino does. The funds model is not confirmed for BazedBet, DEDPRZ, TG.Casino, Wall Street Memes Casino and WeissBet.

What does provably fair mean?

Provably fair is a commit-and-reveal method for a casino's own games. Before you bet, the casino shows a hash of its secret server seed. You can set your own client seed, and a nonce counts each bet. Once you rotate seeds, the casino reveals the server seed, and anyone can recompute every result and check it against the earlier hash. It proves a result wasn't changed after the bet. It does not lower the house edge or say anything about payouts, withdrawals or the operator's solvency.

Which projects document provably fair games?

7 of the 17 publish a provably fair method for their in-house games: BC.Game, BetFury, Chips.gg, DEDPRZ, Rollbit, Shuffle and WickedBet. BC.Game and Shuffle also apply it to their lotteries. SolCasino describes it only for its TURBOWAVE trading rounds. SX Bet has no house-generated outcomes because users bet against each other, so the concept does not apply. For BazedBet, Fairspin, HunnyPlay, Moon Roll, Owl.Games, TG.Casino, Wall Street Memes Casino and WeissBet, no provably fair documentation was confirmed, which doesn't mean the games are unfair, only that no verifiable method was found.

Does provably fair also cover slots and live casino?

No. Provably fair systems on these sites cover the casino's own originals, such as dice, crash, Plinko, Mines or roulette. Third-party slots and live dealer tables run on the game studio's own random number generator or physical equipment, which is tested by independent labs rather than verified bet by bet. Shuffle states this split directly. Owl.Games cites provider audits, such as Evolution's, for its third-party games. On any of these platforms, most of the game library is therefore not provably fair, even when the originals are.

How do the token models differ: burns, revenue share and lotteries?

Three patterns repeat. In buyback and burn models, part of the platform's revenue buys tokens that are destroyed or held by the treasury: BC.Game, BetFury, Owl.Games, Rollbit, Shuffle, SolCasino and TG.Casino. In revenue-share models, stakers receive part of the profit: BazedBet, Fairspin, Moon Roll, TG.Casino and WickedBet. In lottery models, staked tokens enter a draw funded by revenue: Moon Roll, Rollbit and Shuffle. Several projects combine these with plain staking rewards or rakeback. No documented token role was confirmed for DEDPRZ, HunnyPlay and Wall Street Memes Casino. A token mechanism says nothing about price.

Which projects offer a sportsbook?

A classic sportsbook, where the operator sets the odds and takes the other side of each bet, is listed for 13 of the 17: BC.Game, BetFury, Chips.gg, DEDPRZ, Fairspin, Moon Roll, Owl.Games, Rollbit, Shuffle, SolCasino, TG.Casino, Wall Street Memes Casino and WickedBet. SX Bet also covers sports, but as an exchange where users bet against each other. No sportsbook was confirmed for BazedBet, HunnyPlay and WeissBet. Sportsbook availability often depends on the country, so a listed sportsbook may be blocked where you are.

How does a betting exchange like SX Bet differ from a house-edge casino?

In a casino or sportsbook, you play against the operator, which builds a house edge or margin into every game or price. On SX Bet, users bet against each other: a maker posts odds, a taker accepts them, and the exchange only charges a fee, 1% of profit on winning taker bets and nothing for makers, according to SX Bet. Bets settle in USDC through smart contracts on SX Network, and funds stay in a user-controlled wallet. SX Bet now describes itself as a sports prediction market.

Which projects run lotteries?

Lotteries appear in two forms. As a game, a lottery is listed for BC.Game, Shuffle and WickedBet. As a token mechanism, staked tokens enter a regular draw: Shuffle runs a weekly draw for staked SHFL funded by 15% of its net gaming revenue, Moon Roll runs an MRC lottery with a staking fee that is partly burned, and Rollbit has an RLB lottery for RLB wagering. Draw rules and funding are set by each operator and can change, so check the linked documentation.

Which projects offer crypto futures or trading?

Besides gambling products, 3 projects offer leveraged trading on crypto prices: BetFury, Rollbit and SolCasino. Rollbit and SolCasino advertise up to 1000x leverage, and BetFury added x1000 futures in 2026. These products work like high-leverage derivatives inside the casino account: positions can be liquidated quickly, and they are not part of any provably fair system except SolCasino's TURBOWAVE rounds. Many regulators treat such products separately from gambling.

How do KYC rules differ between the projects?

KYC (identity checks) is documented in the terms or help center of BC.Game, BetFury, Chips.gg, Shuffle and SX Bet. These range from tiered checks with ID, selfie and proof of address or funds to a general right to ask for documents at any time, typically before withdrawals. DEDPRZ and Moon Roll advertise 'No KYC' on X, which doesn't rule out checks later. For BazedBet, Fairspin, HunnyPlay, Owl.Games, Rollbit, SolCasino, TG.Casino, Wall Street Memes Casino, WeissBet and WickedBet, no KYC policy was confirmed. A missing entry is a research gap, not proof that no checks happen.

Which licences do the projects hold?

A licence was verified in a regulator or official register for BazedBet, BC.Game, BetFury, Chips.gg, Moon Roll and Shuffle. Licences named on the site or by aggregators, but not verified or in flux, apply to DEDPRZ, Fairspin, HunnyPlay, Rollbit and WickedBet; Rollbit's Curaçao licence is listed in the CGA register as 'Expired. Re-evaluating in administrative appeal', while its CGA certificate page showed 'Revoked' on 18 October 2026. Sweden's regulator Spelinspektionen names MIBS N.V. as the operator of TG.Casino and Wall Street Memes Casino under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/1718/0938, which the CGA register lists as 'Expired' (register of 14 October 2026). No licence was found for Owl.Games, SolCasino, SX Bet and WeissBet. The licence types are explained in the glossary: Curaçao and Anjouan.

Which project tokens are internal, sunset or being replaced?

Chips.gg's CHIP is an internal reward token without a verified public contract, so it exists only in the operator's database. SX Bet announced the sunset of its SX token on 15 May 2026. WickedBet is replacing its legacy WIK with a new WKBT token, a token migration, and Wall Street Memes Casino moved WSM from Ethereum to BNB Smart Chain in February 2024. HunnyPlay's HUNNY stopped emissions at its maximum supply in August 2022.

How often is this comparison updated?

GambleFiHub reviews this table and the answers once a month and whenever a project changes its products, token mechanics, terms or licence. Each project row links to its sources with the date they were last checked. Entries marked 'Not confirmed' are open research items, never guesses. Detailed token data, burns and news are on each project page, and the Statistics page compares market and supply figures. Spot an outdated entry? Write to info@gamblefihub.com.
