1000x Leverage Is Becoming a Crypto Casino Product

Bar chart of revenue Rollbit reports for its 1000x futures vertical by month in 2026: $2.36m in January, $1.32m February, $1.06m March, $1.46m April, $1.33m May, $2.16m June, $1.43m July, $1.15m August and $1.28m September

Leveraged crypto trading has become a standard feature at some of the largest crypto casinos. BetFury promoted its futures product in a press release on 30 September 2026, describing a multiplier of up to x1000 and contrasting it with the 100x to 125x ceilings it says most centralised exchanges apply. The product is not new: a BetFury help-centre article dated 20 March 2025 describes BetFury Futures as “a tool for simulating Futures trading with a maximum available Multiplier of x1000”. Rollbit has offered what it calls 1000x crypto futures for longer, and that business shows up in figures Rollbit publishes itself.

How the casino versions work

According to its help centre, BetFury prices major coins from a weighted average of rates on large external markets and promises to close positions at the price the user specifies, which it presents as protection against squeezes. Users choose between a fee on profit and loss or a flat fee. The product also includes FuryWaves, an instrument whose price, BetFury says, comes from a randomiser and resets to $1,000 every 24 hours. In the September release BetFury describes zero slippage and guaranteed fills. Those are features of a product where the platform itself sets the price and settles the trade, not of an exchange order book. Rollbit’s token documentation lists “1000x Crypto Futures” as one of three business lines, alongside its casino and sportsbook, and commits 30% of futures revenue to buying back its RLB token, compared with 20% of sportsbook revenue and 10% of casino revenue.

What Rollbit’s numbers show

Because the buyback is tied to fixed revenue shares, Rollbit’s published revenue figures are mirrored by trackers such as Rollshare, an unofficial site. On those figures, Rollbit’s futures line brought in $2.36 million in January 2026, $1.06 million in March and $1.28 million in September, against $11.46 million from its casino in September. Rollbit stresses that these are revenue numbers, not profits. Futures were about 9% of Rollbit’s reported revenue in September, so the line is material but well behind casino games. BetFury does not publish comparable figures. More on both brands is on our Rollbit and BetFury project pages.

How regulators treat retail leverage

In regulated markets, retail crypto leverage is capped far below these levels, or banned. In 2018 the European Securities and Markets Authority agreed to limit retail CFD leverage to 2:1 for cryptocurrencies. In the UK, the Financial Conduct Authority’s ban on selling crypto derivatives to retail consumers took effect on 6 January 2021. In the United States, the CFTC opened an advance notice of proposed rulemaking on 5 October 2026 on retail commodity transactions in crypto assets under section 2(c)(2)(D) of the Commodity Exchange Act, seeking comment on preventing abusive practices. None of these rules was written with offshore casinos in mind, and Rollbit’s Anjouan licence page excludes the UK, the US and several EU states. But they show the gap between a 1000x casino product and the 2:1 limit that applies to retail crypto CFDs in the EU.

Why it matters for GambleFi

Leveraged futures blur the line between gambling and trading. The products are marketed as trading tools, but they run on in-house pricing and settlement, and at least one instrument is driven by a randomiser. US regulators are drawing their own lines between event contracts, swaps and casino-style gambling, as we covered in our post on the CFTC’s event-contract swap rule and its casino-style gambling carve-out, in force since 19 October. Our report on Rollbit’s Curaçao licence entry looks at the licensing side. For the basics, start with what GambleFi means in practice or our GambleFi FAQ. This is a news report, not investment or trading advice. Leveraged products can lose more than a small price move suggests.
